Our nail wraps stick to any nail surface — unpolished, with polish, gel, Shellac, SNS, or acrylics.
1. Perfectly clean feet

Feet often have lotion, cleanser, or residue that stops wraps from adhering securely – including natural oils from skin and nails!

Rinse them quickly or wipe with an alcohol pad to make them fresh and clean.

Or wait until after a shower when you're feeling refreshed!
2. Select the correct size

Picking the ideal fit for nearly anything often requires tremendous time!

That's precisely why we pack AT LEAST 28 nail wraps with every purchase!

Once you've identified the ideal size for your nails, kindly peel away the transparent plastic layer.
3. Separate The Wrap From The Sheet

Lift your selected design away from its backing, ensuring you're aware of which direction the pattern should be oriented.

Refrain from letting the adhesive surface contact anything else prior to application on your nail, preserving maximum grip!

However, our wraps feature impressive technology that enables you to position them, remove them, and reapply them multiple times (and they maintain their stickiness!) - in case you wish to adjust their placement on your nail (don't worry, we do this constantly).
4. Position the wrap against your cuticle line, then apply firm pressure downward

Line up the edge of the wrap at—never directly onto—your cuticle.

Using a circular rubbing motion, secure and flatten the wrap into position; begin near the cuticle, work pressure down one side, move across the nail top, then return up the opposite side.

Achieving a snug, crease-free finish at the edge is crucial for an immaculate manicure that endures as intended.
**If a small crease develops, simply pull and gently stretch the wrap to smooth it out - see our suggestions in the section below!)
6. Trim away the overhang

Take the supplied file and remove excess material from the length (filing after a quick scissors trim works wonderfully, then complete with the file for polish).

Filing should always be done in a downward direction only.

Avoid horizontal or upward filing motions, as these can compromise the seal between the wrap and your nail, allowing particles and debris to slip underneath (which weakens the adhesive bond, reducing tip retention and shortening wrap durability).

Once you've filed the edges around your nail tip, any remaining wrap material can be gently removed by pulling it away (if it resists, continue with additional downward filing strokes).

Easy as that!
To address any lingering rough patches on your nails, turn to the fine-grain pink side of your file for smoothing. Remember, always move your file in downward strokes! 😉

To enhance the glossy appearance or extend wear time beyond 1-2 weeks, consider applying a protective top coat.

Pro tip: sealing your tips with a top coat will create an even stronger bond between the wrap and your nail!
GUIDE: Making Your Nail Wraps Last Longer
Drawing on our own testing experience and feedback from our customers, we've discovered several strategies to maximize how long your Lily & Fox nail wraps will hold up!
Tip #1 - Layer Essie Platinum Grade Finish or Sally Hansen Hard as Nails top coats (see above!)

Other brands work too, but steer clear of quick-drying formulas, which can cause your natural nails to become dehydrated—something we want to prevent!

Using a top coat stretches wear time dramatically: extend durability to 3-4 weeks instead of the standard 1-2 weeks 💅
Tip #2 - Begin with a base coat underneath your nail wraps for added protection and stronger grip

This approach works especially well if your nail beds tend to be oily.

Note: Don't use a top coat as your base layer since it's thicker and requires much longer to set.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails and Orly Bonder Rubberized Base Coat are both excellent base coat choices.
Tip #3 - Allow at least six hours to pass before soaking your feet in warm water, giving the wraps time to bond securely

Exposing wraps to hot water too soon can weaken their grip, causing them to peel or lift prematurely.

Please be cautious around hot water so your wraps stay flawless from the moment you apply them!
Tip #4 - Going the Extra Mile

Many people who want excellent nail wrap longevity choose lukewarm water rather than scalding hot water during showers.

Certain sunscreens share chemical components with nail polish removers. Consider sealing your nails with a top coat before applying sunscreen.

This small additional care routine helps maintain the look of your wraps and extends their wearable lifespan!
